Matt Elson – Founder

Matt Elson is the founder of The Elson Consultancy, bringing over 15 years of experience in talent, training, and apprenticeships. Over the course of his career, he has successfully supported more than 4,000 people into employment or training, working with employers, providers, and individuals to create pathways that deliver real and lasting impact.

Before launching The Elson Consultancy, Matt built his expertise through senior roles in talent, training, workforce development, employability programmes and apprenticeship delivery. His track record spans a wide range of industries & sectors, giving him a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by both employers, providers and candidates.

Matt's ethos is built on his belief that opportunity changes lives — and that organisations thrive when their people are given the right tools, training, and support. Known for his collaborative approach and results-driven mindset, he works closely with partners to design practical solutions that meet immediate needs while building for the future.

Away from his professional work, Matt is passionate about lifelong learning and supporting the next generation of talent working across the local community to create accessible development solutions.
